Rick Allen Snow, OD

A 1977 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Optometry, Dr. Snow has a strong background in contact lenses and was one of the first clinical investigators for gas permeable contacts. A leader in his profession, Dr. Snow has chaired the Third Party Committee, served as President of the Michigan Optometric Association,and was an instrumental part of helping pass legislation to allow optometrist to write prescription medications. Dr. Snow has been practicing in Lenawee County for over 35 years.
 

Jodi L. Kordyzon, OD

Dr. Jodi L. Kordyzon is a 2000 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Optometry. She is a member of the American and Michigan Optometric Association. She joined Eye Center of Lenawee in the fall of 2000. Dr. Kordyzon has a special interest in the area of contact lenses and enjoys the challenge of designing lenses for patients. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and is dedicated to providing her patients with the best care in a state-of-the-art facility. Dr. Kordyzon is a member of Lenawee County Civitan and St. Elizabeth's Church in Tecumseh. She enjoys camping, skiing and spending time with her husband, Mark, and three children, Owen, Seth, and Molly.

Sara Weidmayer, OD, FAAO

Dr. Sara Weidmayer graduated as valedictorian of the Michigan College of Optometry's class of 2010, then completed an ocular disease residency at the Battle Creen VA Medical Center. She is board certified by the American Board of Certification in Medical Optometry and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Weidmayer is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Michigan Optometric Association, and Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society.  Her primary interests are treatment and management of glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy in the geriatric population; however, she enjoys working with patients of all ages. Her interests outside of work include running, baking and spending time with her husband, Nick, and children, Caleb & Eden.

Cindy

Cindy is our office coordinator and has been in the optical field for more than twenty years. She began working for the Eye Center of Lenawee in September of 1995. She successfully keeps the office running smoothly and efficiently. Cindy is knowledgeable in all areas of the office. She is an active member of the National Federation of the Blind and the Southern Michigan Parents of the Visually Impaired.  Cindy enjoys archery, and owns Andrews Arrows and Archery in Tipton. 

April

April is the Accounts Receivable Manager at our office. She is the person responsible for keeping the office up-to-date with insurance policies. She can help with any questions you may have regarding your insurance coverage, benefits, or billing inquiries. She has been working in the optical field for more than 10 years and is the mother to two boys. April rejoined our staff in the fall of 2005 and continues to assist our patients in any way she can.

Sonja

Sonja is one of the friendly faces who will greet you when you enter our office.  She is responsible for a number of tasks at the front desk, including scheduling, verifying insurance and contacting patients for various reasons.  Sonja is happily married, has 2 grown children and has been blessed with 3 beautiful grandchildren. According to Sonja, "You will find that we are just regular people who love what we do and who genuinely care about our patients and their needs."
 

Ruby

Ruby is a certified optical dispenser and certified paraoptometric technician. Ruby rejoined our team in April of 2001. She assists the optometrist in providing primary patient care and treatment, collects patient data and performs technical testing. With Ruby’s background, she is very helpful in assisting with your optical needs.  Her upbeat personality is definitely an asset and adds to our friendly office environment. 

Janell

Janell joined our team in January of 2000. She is one of our certified paraoptometric technicians who works alongside the doctors, collecting patient data and performing technical testing. Janell is also known to have a keen eye at picking out the perfect frame! She is a member of the Paraoptometric Association and is also very active in the community. She is a wife and mother of three and enjoys bragging about her granddaughters!

Dave

Dave has an associate’s degree from Ferris State University in Optical Technology and has received certification from the American Board of Opticianry. Dave has been in the optical field for more than thirty years and joined the Eye Center of Lenawee team in August of 1980. Dave manufactures lenses in our in-office lab, verifies and delivers lenses, frames and other specially fabricated optical devices. He will measure, fit and adjust the frame or lenses to you personally. With Dave’s expertise, he will see to it that you have the correct glasses to suit your specific visual needs.
 

Jackie

After moving here from Wisconsin, Jackie joined our team in December of 2003. She is also one of our certified opticians. Her responsibilities include eyewear selection and adjustments. She checks your eyewear for accuracy and makes sure your eyewear feels and looks great at final dispensing. With her friendly and cheerful disposition, Jackie is a great addition to our team. You will enjoy working with her to find your perfect eyewear!

Cortnee

Cortnee is a very versitle member of our team.  She can assist you as you select your eyewear, she is very knowledgable about the operations of the fronk desk, and she also often assists the doctors as a technician.  Cortnee can probably help with any question you might have, and will make sure that your visit is a positive experience from start to finish.
